Selections from the Serie Print Project gives museum goers an opportunity to discover the creativity of contemporary Mexican-American artists through the printmaking medium. The Serie Print Project is a non-profit Latino arts organization that was founded in 1993 by printmaker Sam Coronado, and located at his studio in Austin. The goal of the Serie Print Project is to produce, promote and exhibit silk screen prints created by established and emerging artists and to make fine art available to the public through affordable, signed and numbered prints. Included in the group of artist who have worked at the Serie Print Project is San Angelo artist René Alvarado.
