This is a special look at our building designed with students in mind. It
is largely geared for those in 4th grade and above and can be easily used
by any educator looking for an interesting way to teach architecture, community,
history, design and how it all relates to West Texas! There are embedded thought-provoking

Explore The Journey of Pots with the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts! Through video visits with artists, Roger Allen, Jeremy Bundick, Linda Gossett, and Esteban Apodaca, they will show you how to throw clay on a wheel, make a pinch pot, build with coils, and slab construction. Theyll explain how clay is fired or hardened and how to add color and decoration with glaze and slip. Enjoy a look at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts permanent collection ceramic masterpieces created with these techniques.
