Mexican Calendar Legends is a traveling exhibitions organized by Museo Soumaya in Mexico City. The exhibit is a picture album of utopian scenes printed between 1930 and 1970 by publishing house Galas de México depicting nationalism, the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema and popular culture. Over 60 original paintings will be exhibited from the vast Museo Soumaya/Galas de México Collection. Artists include the masters of the Mexican calendar genre such as Jorge Gonzalez Camarena, Jesus de la Helguera, Josep Renau, Armando Dreschsler, Eduardo Cantaño, Luis Améndolla, Jaime Sadurni, Chavez Marión, and others.
