San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts

Angelo State University Music Faculty

Members of the Angelo State University Music Department Faculty will perform for the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts Chamber Music Series and the faculty will showcase their talents in a variety of ensemble settings.

The concert will feature vocal and instrumental music from the 18th - 20th centuries. Each year the configuration of ASU Faculty members sharing their talents for the program has changed, but each year this particular concert has always been an audience favorite. Each faculty member is an accomplished musician in his or her own right.

"The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts and the Angelo State University Department of Art and Music have been working closely since the new museum opened in 1999 and the invitation to join the Chamber Series was a natural step in our relationship" said David Scott, Head of the Department of Art and Music at ASU. "We are excited to be a part of this fine music series and look forward to many years of performing at the museum."

The students and faculty at ASU work extremely hard all year round to make such performances as this one a very rewarding experience. The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts is honored to have the ASU Faculty concert performing as a part of its chamber music series.
